Another fabulous weekend on the books.  My long time friend, Joel, came to the STL this weekend with his girlfriend, Karlen, from Mad City USA.  As always, we had a great time.  We got to go to the Science Center, see some of the loop, have a great dinner, and get some quality Wii time (Joel got pretty good at bowling).  He also brought squeaky cheese curds for Rhyen and Dylen (which they love!) and a jug of pale ale from the good ole Great Dane brewery...mmmm, good.

WOW!!!  That's all I can say is WOW...what a fabulous weekend of Scottish fun.  The 2008 Missouri Tartan Day Festival turned out to be a great success I believe with record breaking attendance and beautiful weather.  We pretty much spent from Friday night to Sunday night outside, watching, walking, listening, rockin', eating, drinking, talking, and just enjoying.

Tartan Day is upon us...well, sort of.  The official holiday is April 6th, this Sunday, but the Mills family will be celebrating in full swing starting today at the Missouri Tartan Day Festivities.  If you're around, come on by and drink a pint; listen to great live music by Mother Grove , watch some live Scottish athletics, pet a shetland sheep, or maybe run into Nessie. Either way, it's gonna be a great time.  You can see us march in the parade at noon on Saturday.

The Easter bunny made his way to Papa & Nene's house this year and the kids had a blast.  We spent the day playing games, going to church, hanging out with family and enjoying tons of food.  As always, it was a great time.  And of course...what would a family holiday party be without tons of pictures!

As with most families, we of course had to do the traditional coloring of Easter eggs this year.  We made it through with only one mishap; Rhyen accidentally spilled one of the cups of dye all over the table but fortunately we were able to get it cleaned up and the table is back to being brown again.  But overall, we had a good time and the kids enjoyed it...so that's what matters most.

What a day!  The weather was perfect and we got to spend it with some great friends.  We went to the zoo with our very good friends, The Hennings.  After the zoo, we went out for a great dinner at Ciceros...always a great meal!! 

This past weekend we had all kinds of fun and snapped a bunch of pictures.  It's not like we really did anything special, but just had fun doing it together.  On Saturday night, we all went over to the Sundbergs house for some good fun on Rock Band and a GREAT dinner by Annette.
