Ok, so maybe we didn't actually have breakfast at the zoo, but we did have an early morning start to the zoo.  Dylen wanted to do the zoo for her birthday yesterday but we just ran out of time, so I promised her we'd go today before going to Nene & Papa's for her birthday with them.  And as I promised, we were up at the crack of dawn, out the door to Starbucks for breakfast and walking into the zoo at 8:50am.  We had a great time of course. 

Happy Birthday to my precious little Dylen Mattingly.  I can't believe she's 3 years old now.  Seems like just yesterday, I was calling my brother Jeremy to come to the house and watch Rhyen as I took Amy to the hospital.  The girls and I met Amy at one of our favorites, RT Weilers for a birthday dinner.  We had a good time and of course Dylen did too with all of her gifts.  However, she did throw a bit of a fit at the end of dinner, but I think she was just tired.

"Check out the 24 inch pythons brother!!" or maybe you're more of a Ric Flair kind of person, "Whhhooooooo!!".  Either way, when we went to the WWE RAW event last night, I didn't have a clue who anyone was....I haven't watched wrestling in years!!  However, Shawn Michaels was there, and I certainly remember him.  Had it not been that the tickets were free and in my company's private suite, I wouldn't have gone but I took Rhyen and my friend Tony & his son Jacob...and we had a great time!!  Except for the cost of parking we didn't have to pay a single cent....heck, even the soda and beer was free....can't get much better than that!

This past weekend, the girls and I spent some time camping....in the living room.  We built an awesome tent and spent the evening watching movies and just playing & having fun.  Thought we'd share our pictures.....cuz you know...what would camping with the Mills' be like if there weren't pictures.

Oh yeah....my baby girl is growin' up!!  Rhyen has been buggin' for the last month about this birthday for some reason...not sure why....it seemed like more excitement than past birthdays.  She thinks that 7 is some golden year for her...and maybe it will be.  Rhyen can make any of her dreams come true because she is the author and navigator of her fate....I love you Rhyen!!!  Happy Birthday to you!!

And my baby girl has moved on....to 1st grade that is.  She was so excited this morning as we walked into school.  She wasn't scared at all...having gone to this school last year, she's now confident and more secure, which is great!  I'm so proud of you Rhyen!!

The Mills family enjoyed a very leisurly Sunday afternoon by celebrating the end of summer in true fashion.  Mimi graciously opened her home to us and we had a great time....swimming, food, fun and all in the sun.  These are the moments you cherish as a family.
