So what started out to be an easy trip to the zoo, turned out to be a family reunion when the monkey's wanted to keep Rhyen & Dylen because they looked so familiar...haha...but really, we had a great time! I thought totin' 2 kids to the zoo by myself was gonna be a disaster but Rhyen was such a well behaved little girl and good helper that we just had a blast. |

Our little man is growing up. At only 5 months old, Drake, our family bearded dragon, has outgrown his wee little cage and into a full size dragon mansion. For those of you who don't know Drake, he is a bearded dragon that I got back in February as just a new born pup. I think he stopped growing though for awhile since he'd outgrown his cage. |

Nothin' says lovin' like mama's home cooking on Father's Day. We all joined up at Mom and Dad's house on Sunday morning for a good ole fashion Mills family breakfast. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and all the fixins! We were well fed as always! |

It was 90 stinkin' degrees by 10:00 and coming down Market Street was no picnic for anyone looking to smell the roses. It was a hot day, but I think it was one of the largest turn outs ever for the St. Louis event. Team Mills was joined by 65,000+ people to take part in this annual 5k run/walk event for Breast Cancer research. |

Being that my mom works for an agricultural company, she tends to work with people who have farms or were former farmers. One such co-worker has 2 mares that both gave birth to new foals. She invited us out to her farmette to see the foals and so off we went to a town somewhere in Illinois led only by the power of GPS. |
