As many of you may know, Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band is a Mills family tradition in that their music has inspired us all....from Old Time Rock 'n' Roll to Main Street to Shakedown and now to their new hit "Wait For Me" off their new album "Face The Promise".  Bob Seger is an American icon in our eyes and he really is an awesome guy.  It doesn't hurt that he's a Michigan boy like most us as well...straight out of Dearborn and now spends his days in the motor city Detroit.

Here we are only 2 1/2 weeks later celebrating yet another birthday...but this time it's for the baby.  Who might I say, is not such a baby anymore.  She can stuff down the food like a bear.  We don't really have alot of "baby" friends, so we just did the family thing and went out to dinner and made her feel special.  
We went to RT Weilers where the kids eat out of dog bowls.  It was fun and Rhyen always loves it!

ImageEarlier today, starting at 8:00am, the Central States Shrine Parade took place in downtown St. Charles...just a 5 minute walk away from our house....literally!  The parade was expected to last for 4 hours, and we said "NO WAY!", but it came pretty dang close.  It was over at about 11:30am....lemme tell ya, you ain't see shriners until you've seen one of these parades.  Every kind of car, truck, bus, fire engine, trailer, go karts, mini bikes, motorcycles, 3-wheelers, ATVs, tractors, unicycles, and even a guy on bouncy stilts...yes, I said BOUNCY stilts!!  But hey...don't take my word for it....
